McLaren MP4 12C out of homologation Program
We are sorry to announce it, but we had to take out the McLaren MP4 12C out of the homologation programm. The reason for this was it was simply too fast to restrict it with a fitting Balance of Performance. In the last test, it ran with approx. 390hp and 1490kg (normal 450hp@1400kg) and it still was faster than the other cars. The powerlimiter/restrictor was nearly forced down to 65%, which "crippled" the power curve.
Good news are, in mid-season, there will be 2 new homologations, with Lexus ISF entering the program, and maybe Lotus (with the Esprit)
New changes to the Balance of Performance
New changes have been made to the Balance of Performance of the Dodge Viper GTS, the Chevy Camaro, and the Ford GT.
Viper GTS:
now: 1445kg, 480hp/358kW
Weight reduction: Stage 1, +76kg Ballast
Chevy Camaro:
Power: 350kW / 470hp
Weight: 1460kg
Ford GT:
Power: 330kW / 443hp
Weight: Weight reduction standard with 29kg ballast
or weight reduction stage 1 with 160kg ballast.
New homologations in discussion
We might get a few more cars homologated into our GTM AND GT3 programm.
For the GTM class, there will surely be added the Lexus ISF and the TVR Tuscan Speed 6. We also may or may not see a Lotus, with the Esprit V8.
For the GT3 class, there will be coming the Corvette LM Race car (ZR1)
